Back in the day....

I have a project to share with you from "back in the day" before I had this blog.  I was cleaning out my computer at work and came across these pics, so I thought I'd share.  I made this little lady bug to hold a birthday gift for a little girl at church that was turning one.  (She's past two now, so that's how long ago it was!)  Please excuse my messy desk in the background.  When I made this, I didn't know I'd be sharing the photos with anyone!

I made this entire project using Storybook (LOVE. THAT. CART.).

From the side you can see the little holes I punched.  I added ribbon to make it into a bag.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I have completed several tutorials and projects for you and am working on editing the photos now.  I will share them soon!  Have a wonderful Friday!

Blessings,
Cheryl

My Pink Stamper Challenge - Something Cute!

This is for another MPS Challenge. Robyn has challenges going on all week over at My Pink Stamper and this challenge is to make something cute! I saw these cute little triangle boxes/ornaments made with punch art a while back and figured I could probably recreate it with the cricut. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More for the box and Storybook for the rest of the cuts.

Frank!

I love to check out other people's blogs. It helps fuel my creativity and gives me great ideas. I saw the cutest Frankenstein card from punch art the other day and wondered if I could re-create it with my cricut. Here's my take on it. I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and Storybook. The sentiment is handwritten as I don't have any Halloween stamps. I'm not sure where I saw this so I apologize for not being able to acknowledge my inspiration.

Monogram Cards

Happy Monday! Just wanted to show you all a set of cards I made for a friend of mine from church. I purchased the Martha Stewart Scoreboard a few months ago - Love it! I had to try it out and so I thought I'd try making a set of cards with matching box. My first attempt at the box wasn't great and I've learned since....but thought I'd share them anyway. I used the Storybook cartridge and Swiss Dots embossing folder with my Cuttlebug.

Blessings!

Nametags

Wow...I started this blog, made one post and then disappeared! I actually lost the USB cable to transfer my pics to my computer and had to order a new one. I have TONS of pics that are loading from my camera as we speak, so I'm going to be posting quite a few cards. Now that I have myself back in order, I'm hoping to open an Etsy store very soon and have some cards and paper goods for sale. Check back soon for the link.

Every year our ladies group at church has a weekend retreat....a getaway for us gals. My mom is the leader of the group and does a wonderful job compiling goodie bags for us that have all kinds of fun stuff in them. This year, I thought it would be fun to "spiff" up the presentation a bit, so I wanted to make each person their own nametag for their goodie bag. This was a bigger undertaking than I had planned. It was well worth it because they loved them.....thank goodness! Here are some of the nametags. They were all made using the Storybook cartridge (which I actually regretted buying at first....now I LOVE it!)

**Please bear with the poor pics. After spending hours gluing ALL those tiny letters, I was half asleep taking these and not putting much thought into it.
