Back to school... A little late!

I really love back to school time.  I have no children and although my hubby is in school, he doesn't need normal supplies for his classes, but...  I love to shop for school supplies anyway!  Office supplies make me happy.  All the beautiful colors of pens, highlighters, notepads.... they're just lovely.  The last few years I've gone crazy and bought tons of spiral notebooks, binders, highlighters, pens and tape when they go on sale 10/$1.00.  While that may be a good deal, how much of this stuff can one person use?  So, this year, I restrained myself and only bought one package of pens and they were really pretty and totally worth it!

Craft Booth Pics

A couple of weeks ago I had a booth at a conference and I finally have some pictures to share with you!  I forgot my camera but had brought the camcorder to record some video, so I took some pics with it.  The pictures aren't great with the camcorder, but they'll do.  I am still trying to pull the video from the camera, but am not having much luck.  I will post that as soon as I can get the camera to let go of it!

Altered Memo Pads - #2

As I metioned last week, we made altered memo pads as one of the crafts at our ladies retreat.  I have several more to share with you, as I made quite a few examples.  Next Monday and Tuesday, I will have a booth at a ministry conference.  Hopefully, this is my last BIG project of this year (I'm ready for a break!).  I am planning to make several of these using some scripture stamps and various other designs.  I'll share those with you in a couple of weeks just to show a different design.

Goodies!

I’m so glad it’s Saturday, aren’t you?  This week at work has been totally nutso and I couldn’t wait for it to end!

Today I wanted to share with you some of the projects I have been working on for the last few weeks.  One of my friends is the president of the PTA at her kid’s school.  She hired me to make goodies for the teachers for 4 days last week during teacher appreciation week.  There were 60 teachers, so I made 240 goodies in all.  WOW.  That took a while!  I will be sharing a little at a time with you.

One day, they gave the teachers post it holders for their desks.  I made every one different because I wanted each teacher to have their very own unique holder for their desk.  Here are some that I made.  I tied the matching pen to it using tulle.

Sorry about these first two pics – They were the last two I made and I just threw them up on the desk and took a quick picture.  You get to see my dirty mat and pink buckets in the background!  I scooted the disastrous mess of scraps, ribbon and glue to the side and tried to hide it…ha ha.

This next one didn’t photograph too well.  In person, that background paper is really cute and the GIANT green button looks nice on it.

This is one of my favorites.  The paper is from Hobby Lobby and the colors on it are so pretty.

The ribbon on this one below kept reflecting, but it really does match the green in the paper!  =)  I love this one too cuz it’s so bright and cheery.

I have TONS more to share with you, but I gotta get them pulled off the camera and ready to post.

Have a wonderful day!!

Cheryl

Bee Happy....It's your birthday!

I love, love, love the bee from Paisley. The little pink cheeks are so cute. So...I used that cut to make this birthday card for my co-worker. She loved it!

Blessings,

Happy Friday!

I'm so glad it's Friday! It's been a long week. As I was going through the pics on my computer, I found this one. I realized I'd never posted the bookmarks I made for the craft fair, so here they are as well. Quite simple because I was running out of time...but I sold a few, so it was worth it!

Treats for Craft Fair

Here are more craft fair goodies...

These hold packs of breath mints (like Tic Tacs). I am working on some for the holidays and some that are just generic for friends. This is the first one I made.

These little guys are much cuter in real life! They are peppermint patty monsters. Between the two layers is a peppermint patty. I saw these made using punches, but I made them using my cricut.
These also have mint patties in them. I love this little spider! This was also an idea I saw made from punches.

Craft Fair Goodies....Cards

Finally getting around to posting some of the goodies for the craft fair. First, some cards. It's hard for me to "mass produce" cards because I very much like to make them personal to the recipient. Obviously, I can't do that when they're for sale. Soooo...during the back to school sale, I got a couple of boxes of these long skinny envelopes for like 0.29 per box, so I thought I'd
make cards to fit them. Here are a few, using the basic same layout for all.

Blessings,
