Ghost Treat Bag

Don't you love fall weather?  I do!  I completely hate being hot, so summer isn't my thing.  I love fall and winter.  In Oklahoma, sometimes it takes us a while to get chilly fall weather and it finally came this week.  When I woke up this morning, I opened my back door just to step outside and feel the chilly breeze.  Correction - in Oklahoma we almost never have a "breeze".  It was more like a major 40 mph wind gust, but still wonderful and cool.  This weather can only mean one thing...Halloween is just around the corner!!  Since I don't have kids, I don't have to worry with costumes and such, but I still like the holiday.  I bought a ton of candy (yeah, coupons!) so I had to make some bags to put it in.  Here's one of them...

This bag is from Plantin Schoolbook.  I used fit to page on a 12x12 sheet for the size.  The paper is from the dollar spot at Target.  I like the pattern on the paper, but once I cut it, I realized it's a bit thin for a bag.

The tag is from Tags, Bags, Boxes and More.  I inked the edges in black and added "BOO!" using my white gel pen.  I tied a bow with twine and attached it with a glittery black brad from Oriental Trading.  The ghost is a stick by Sandy Lion from the dollar spot at Joann's.  Can you tell I'm cheap?  Almost everything I used came from the dollar bin somewhere!  (The background paper in the picture is from the dollar spot at Target as well)

for Halloween that you'd like to see?  If so, leave me a comment or email me at pinkandpaper@gmail.com.

Blessings,
Cheryl
